Hi, I’m Ellen! Born and raised in the Egg Harbor City/Mullica Twp area, I am the third generation of my family to open a business in Egg Harbor City.

I started baking at the age of 12(ish) and always found it relaxing. After high school I went to cosmetology school and was a nail technician for 10 years. I love those tiny details! I would often find myself baking for my clients and coworkers at the salon. I retired from cosmetology when I had my first son,Liam, and 14 months later had my second son, Rylee. Yearning for adult contact I took some decorating classes and fell in love.

I continued being a stay at home mom for 15 years while at the same time baking for family and friends. Word quickly spread and my hobby started to turn into a business.

In 2021, I purchased the perfect space for me on the main street in EHC. Unfortunately we were right in the middle of a pandemic so it took a while to get up and running. But on February 5, 2023 the doors to All That Batters finally opened to the public.

If I’m not in the bakery, which is pretty rare, you’ll usually find me with my family or snuggling with my mini dachshund, Tobi. I’m admittedly one of those weird Disney adults. I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, the beach but nothing in the cold.
